Create a WhatsApp Cloud channel
Create the channel under Companies, register it on Meta, and verify the number by SMS or call.
Cloud is the official Meta number, created from the platform.
- Left menu, Admin, then Companies.
- Edit the company with the pencil.
- Channels tab, click +.
- Name the channel, type WhatsApp Cloud, pick a chatbot if you have one, save.
- The channel starts unregistered. Click the plug icon to register.
- Sign in to the Facebook account tied to Business Manager and finish WhatsApp Business API setup.
- Enter the phone, country code +55 for Brazil, verify by SMS or call.
- If Meta asks for a PIN, fill it and save.
The channel then shows as registered and live on the company.
