How to connect a WhatsApp Cloud number (deprecated)
This flow is retired. Use **Create a WhatsApp Cloud channel**.
The steps below stay as history: create the channel and register App ID, WABA-ID, Phone number ID and tokens.
- Admin > Companies > edit.
- Channels tab > Add. Name it, type WhatsApp Cloud, Save.
- Click the channel register icon.
- Fill App ID, WABA-ID, Phone number ID, phone, App Access Token and System Access Token.
- In Facebook Developers, open the company app. Settings > Basic: copy App ID and App Access Token.
- WhatsApp > Get started: copy the Phone number ID.
- WhatsApp > Configuration > Manage phones: the WABA-ID is in the URL after you pick the number.
- In Meta Business Manager, System users. Confirm admin access and that the Cloud app is on that permission.
- Permissions:
business_management,whatsapp_business_messaging,whatsapp_business_management. Generate token, paste into System Access Token, OK.
The channel should show as Registered.
