How to register a number on WhatsApp API Cloud (deprecated)

The company must be verified on Meta. Without that the Meta for Developers app will not go live.

1. Open https://developers.facebook.com/ and sign in.
2. Create app, type Business.
3. App name, valid email and Business Manager account.
4. Type WhatsApp, click Set up.
5. The test number Meta gives you does not go to the platform. Click Continue.
6. Add phone. Real company data. Next.
7. Set the display name. Meta may reject it; send another if it fails.
8. The number cannot be installed on a phone. It must receive the verification SMS.
9. Country code + number, Next, confirm the code.
10. Wait 3 to 10 minutes, refresh. If the test send fails, open Go to WhatsApp Manager and fix the Meta alert.
