Set up Cloudflare for your domain

To use Cloudflare as your DNS provider, you need a Cloudflare account and a domain you already own.

  1. Log in to Cloudflare and click Add a site.
  2. Enter your domain and click Add site.
  3. Choose your plan (the free plan works for most cases) and click Continue.
  4. Cloudflare scans your existing DNS records automatically. Scroll down and click Continue.
  5. Copy the two nameservers shown on screen.
  6. In your domain registrar's panel, replace the current nameservers with the ones from Cloudflare.
  7. Back in Cloudflare, click Done, check nameservers.

Propagation can take a few minutes. Once approved, the dashboard shows a confirmation and your domain uses Cloudflare for DNS.
