Connect a Telegram channel

Before connecting, you need the APP API ID and APP API HASH from Telegram. See the "Generate Telegram token" article to get them.

Create the channel on the company

1. Open the company and go to the Channels tab.
2. Click + to add a channel.
3. Enter a name, select Telegram as the type, and choose a chatbot if you have one. Click Save.

Connect the channel

1. Click Restart Channel.
2. When the plug icon becomes available, click it.
3. Go to https://my.telegram.org/auth?to=apps and enter your phone number (country code + area code + number).
4. Enter the verification code you receive on Telegram and click Confirm.
5. If a form appears, fill in the required details.
6. Copy the APP API ID from the page and paste it in the platform.
7. Copy the APP API HASH and paste it in the platform.
8. Enter your phone number in the platform and click Next.
9. Enter the code you receive and click Next.

The Telegram channel is now connected.
